Scripture and the Sovereign God
Is salvation completely and fully the Lord’s work? We talked about words like "availability" & "provision" concerning the salvific effort this week in SS. Has God merely "made a way" for you to be saved? Has He done all He can do, and now awaits the sinner’s decision? Scripture is clear. If salvation were dependent on the sinner’s initiative, no one would ever be saved. “There is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God” (Rom. 3:11). “No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44).
